SUMMARY:CONGRES Kwaliteitszorg op maat van de mens: haalbaarheid als sleutel tot succes
DESCRIPTION:Tijdens dit congres staat de maat van de mens centraal. Op welke manier kan een beleid gecreëerd worden dat voor iedereen haalbaar is om uitgevoerd te worden? Hoe kan haalbaarheid een belangrijk criterium worden in het werken aan kwaliteit? \nHaalbaarheid is van belang voor iedereen in de organisatie: voor de leidinggevende\, voor medewerkers\, voor de leerling. \nZijn de menselijke limieten bereikt? Er lijkt een shift nodig van “hoe kan de mens zich aanpassen aan het systeem?” (waarbij vooral een inspanning gevraagd wordt op microniveau) naar “hoe kan het systeem zich aanpassen aan de mens?” \nHet congres schetst mogelijkheden hoe haalbaarheid centraal gesteld kan worden\, hoe onderwijs georganiseerd kan worden vanuit de menselijke maat. \nKeynote: 09.50-10.50 uur\nKeuzesessie reeks 1: 11.20-12.20 uur\nKeuzesessie reeks 2: 13.35-14.35 uur\nKeuzesessie reeks 3: 14.45-15.45 uur

DESCRIPTION:Hoe kun je data inzetten om kwaliteit op school te ontwikkelen? Welke data komen in aanmerking en welke stappen zijn nodig voor een succesvolle kwaliteitsontwikkeling? Op welke manier is het werken met data een zaak van elke medewerker? En hoe is dit alles te realiseren op een wijze en haalbare manier? \nDeze en andere vragen stonden centraal op het congres. Topsprekers zorgden voor een inspirerend antwoord. \nKim Schildkamp (Universiteit Twente) en Jan Vanhoof (Universiteit Antwerpen) startten de dag gezamenlijk met de keynote “Van data tot deskundigheid: hoe informatiegebruik de weg vrijmaakt voor professionele groei”.

DESCRIPTION:Als voorproefje op ons SOK-congres organiseren we een webinar met de uitdagende titel “Do professionals in education really need data to deliver quality?” Nancy Dana is onze gast. \nDe webinar vindt plaats op donderdag 14 maart om 19.30 uur. Je kunt gratis deelnemen. \nNancy Dana is professor aan de universiteit van Florida. Ze heeft ruime expertise opgebouwd over hoe leraren data kunnen inzetten als informatiebron voor hun onderwijspraktijk. \nIn de webinar zal Nancy Dana het hebben over: \n\nWelke rol kunnen data hebben voor leraren?\nWat is de toegevoegde waarde van data?\nHoe kunnen leraren data op een eenvoudige manier inzetten?\nOver wat voor data spreken we dan?\nWat zijn belangrijke stappen in het werken met data?\n\nOp het einde van de webinar is er een Q&A. De webinar is in het Engels; er is geen vertaling voorzien. \nMaak gebruik van deze unieke kans om Nancy Dana aan het woord te horen! \nAbout Me Profile \nNancy Fichtman Dana\, Ph.D.\, is Professor of Education in the School of Teaching and Learning and Distinguished Teaching Scholar at the University of Florida. For the past 30 years\, her research has targeted more effective professional learning for educators through practitioner inquiry\, defined as the study of one’s own professional practice using multiple forms of data to better understand learners and make informed instructional decisions. She has published twelve books and over 100 articles and book chapters on the topic\, receiving several honors for these works that include the Association of Teacher Educators Distinguished Research in Teacher Education Award and the National Staff Development Council (Learning Forward) Book of the Year Award. Throughout her career\, she has worked extensively in supporting schools\, districts and universities in implementing powerful programs of job-embedded professional development through inquiry across the United States and in several countries\, including China\, South Korea\, Belgium\, Portugal\, The Netherlands\, Slovenia\, Estonia\, Australia\, and Spain. SUMMARY:CONGRES Verantwoording als hefboom voor kwaliteitsontwikkeling op school
DESCRIPTION:Verantwoording is tot op vandaag een begrip waarbij veel onderwijsprofessionals zich ongemakkelijk voelen. “Waarom moet ik mij verantwoorden?” “Doe ik het niet goed misschien?” “Ik heb geen tijd om mij met cijfers bezig te houden!” \nOp welke manier kan verantwoording waarderend zijn? Welke plaats heeft verantwoording binnen de autonomie van de school en haar medewerkers? Welke rol speelt dialoog binnen verantwoording? Hoe kunnen verantwoording en kwaliteitsontwikkeling twee handen op één buik zijn? \nVerschillende topsprekers inspireren jou op dit SOK-congres. \nDe Australische Selena Fisk opent het congres via livestream. Ze noemt zichzelf een data storyteller\, voor wie data-informed werken van belang is\, en niet data-driven. Hoe scholen dit op een haalbare manier kunnen aanpakken\, hoor je op het congres. \nData is overwhelming for some\, but it can be incredibly beneficial when used well. When we are able to tap into the power of the numbers in the school context\, we benefit students\, classes\, and school communities. This keynote explores the context of data in our current educational landscape\, and the importance of everyone knowing the data and being able to engage in data use. Selena unpacks the three key elements of the effective use of data: data literacy\, data visualisation\, and data storytelling\, and discusses the role of data in accountability and quality in our schools.
