DESCRIPTION:Als voorproefje op ons SOK-congres organiseren we een webinar met de uitdagende titel “Do professionals in education really need data to deliver quality?” Nancy Dana is onze gast. \nDe webinar vindt plaats op donderdag 14 maart om 19.30 uur. Je kunt gratis deelnemen. \nNancy Dana is professor aan de universiteit van Florida. Ze heeft ruime expertise opgebouwd over hoe leraren data kunnen inzetten als informatiebron voor hun onderwijspraktijk. \nIn de webinar zal Nancy Dana het hebben over: \n\nWelke rol kunnen data hebben voor leraren?\nWat is de toegevoegde waarde van data?\nHoe kunnen leraren data op een eenvoudige manier inzetten?\nOver wat voor data spreken we dan?\nWat zijn belangrijke stappen in het werken met data?\n\nOp het einde van de webinar is er een Q&A. De webinar is in het Engels; er is geen vertaling voorzien. \nMaak gebruik van deze unieke kans om Nancy Dana aan het woord te horen! \nAbout Me Profile \nNancy Fichtman Dana\, Ph.D.\, is Professor of Education in the School of Teaching and Learning and Distinguished Teaching Scholar at the University of Florida. For the past 30 years\, her research has targeted more effective professional learning for educators through practitioner inquiry\, defined as the study of one’s own professional practice using multiple forms of data to better understand learners and make informed instructional decisions. She has published twelve books and over 100 articles and book chapters on the topic\, receiving several honors for these works that include the Association of Teacher Educators Distinguished Research in Teacher Education Award and the National Staff Development Council (Learning Forward) Book of the Year Award. Throughout her career\, she has worked extensively in supporting schools\, districts and universities in implementing powerful programs of job-embedded professional development through inquiry across the United States and in several countries\, including China\, South Korea\, Belgium\, Portugal\, The Netherlands\, Slovenia\, Estonia\, Australia\, and Spain.
